Meet the Founder & Principal Attorney

Samantha J. Chang is a Beverly Hills-based attorney who helps clients navigate personal and high-pressure legal situations. She has represented Fortune 100 companies and high-profile individuals in matters where legal risk and public scrutiny often intersect.

Prior to founding Chang Law Group, Samantha practiced as a Litigation & Trial associate at Latham & Watkins, one of the world’s top law firms. There, she litigated complex commercial disputes, represented clients in government investigations, and advised clients facing white-collar allegations.

Samantha also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jinsook Ohta of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, one of the nation’s busiest federal trial courts.

Inspired to offer a more bespoke, high-touch approach to legal counsel, Samantha founded CLG for moments when rights, reputation, or interests need to be protected. Her practice focuses on civil disputes, investigations, and other complex or sensitive matters where rights, reputations, or significant interests are at stake.

She represents clients in both federal and state courts, handling cases from early strategy through trial and appeal. Clients value her candid communication, steady judgment, and ability to bring clarity and direction to situations that feel uncertain or high stakes.

Her goal is simple: to protect her clients’ rights and interests, help them move forward with confidence, and ensure they know someone capable is firmly in their corner.
